Hubungan Kerapatan Mangrove Dengan Kepadatan Gastropoda Di Desa Rawa Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau

Abstract
This research was conducted on July 2019 in the mangrove forest Rawa Mekar Jaya Village, Sungai Apit Sub-district, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This research aims to determine the type of mangrove, type of gastropod and determine the relationship of mangrove density with gastropod abundance in Rawa Mekar Jaya Village. The results of the research found 7 types of mangroves: Rhizopora apiculata, Rhizopora mucronata, Bruguiera sexangula, Xylocarpus granatum, Sonneratia alba, Heritiera globosa and Nypa frutican. The highest mangrove density was found at station III, as many as 1.867 ind/ha, and the lowest mangrove density was found at station I, as many as 967 ind/ha. Gastropods found were 4 species: Telescopium telescopium, Ellobium aurisjudae, Cerithidea quadrata, and Neritina violacea. The highest gastropod abundance was found in Station III with 14,4 m2 ind/ha, while the lowest gastropod abundance was found in Station I with 7,13 ind/m2. The relationship of mangrove density with gastropod abundance has a positive correlation with the equation y = 17.393 + 66,841x and r = 0,84. This shown that relationship of mangrove density with gastropod abundance in Rawa Mekar Jaya Village has a very strong relationship.
