Abstract
This research was conducted in July 2019 in the Ujung Tanjung village, Tanah Putih subdistrict, Rokan Hilir regency, Riau province. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect and differences in catches of drift gillnet with the differences times. The method used is a survey method. Catches of drift gillnet in the morning are Juara (Pangasius polyyuranodon), Pantau (Rasbora bornensis), Selais (Cryptopterus lais) and Sepimping (Parachela oxygaster). with a total weight of 1,76 kg and 617 individual fishs catches of drift gillnet
The catch in the night time is much as in the morning time are ikan Gurame (Osphoronemus goramy), Juara (Pangasius polyyuranodon), Kapiek (Puntius schwanefeld), Pantau (Rasbora bornensis), Selais (Cryptopterus lais), Sepimping (Parachela oxygaster) and Serinding (Ambassis nalua). With a total weight of 21,44 kg and 4247 individual fishs catches of drift gillnet. From the t-test calculation, there is a difference in the catch of the drift gillnet.
