Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Iklim Organisasi Terhadap Etos Kerja Dan Kinerja Pegawai Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru

Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru is one element of government that plays an important role in a government organization. Because his job is to set the source of income of potential possessed by an area. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the Effect of Leadership and Organizational Climate on Work Ethics and Performance of Employees of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru.
The research was conducted on the Employees of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru, the number of samples used was 107 employees. data collection techniques using a questionnaire, and data analysis of path analysis using SPSS Version 17.00.
The results showed that: 1) Leadership influences employee work ethics. The results showed a positive and significant relationship. 2) Organizational climate influences employee work ethics. 3) Leadership influences employee performance. 4) Organizational climate influences employee performance. The results showed a positive and significant relationship, then any increase or improvement to the Organizational Climate, it will improve Employee Performance. 5) Work Ethic is able to be an intervening variable between the leadership variable and the Employee Performance variable of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru. 6) Work Ethic is able to become an intervening variable between the organizational climate variable and the Employee Performance variable of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru. 7) Work ethic influences employee performance.
The suggestions that can be given from this study are: 1) The leader must be able to show honesty in every action, 2) Always appreciate the office when completing the right work, 3) Give examples of honest behavior by leaders in the Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru, 4) Provide a good understanding to employees about the standard of work to be done.
