This research is motivated by the problems in the market development management in Indragiri Hulu is not running optimally so that the revenue receipts of the District through organizational development market is still declining.
This study aims to analyze the process of market development management in Indragiri Hulu. In addition this study also aims to analyze the factors that affect the process of Market Development management in Indragiri Hulu. This study uses the theory of Organizational Development Joseph J. Famularo. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Methods of data collection is by interview, observation and documentation.
These results indicate that the market development management in Indragiri Hulu has not run optimally. It dikarenkan development planning process that is not yet mature, the organization that is not effective, and the implementation of market development which has not contributed to the advancement of Markets in Indragiri Hulu, as well as the lack of supervision of market managers in the district, and evaluation that has not walked produce optimal outcomes, The factors that influence the management of market development that is a factor of contention Interest, factors Communication, factors opposition silenced, a factor cooperation is not good, competitive factors which are destructive, the factors making the wrong decision, Factor responses slow to change and factors lack Motivation.
