The condition of seagrass ecosystem affects the fishery and economical condition of people living around that ecosystem in general. To understand the type of seagrass, activities that threaten the seagrass and to analyze the economic value of fisheries and ecosystem services provided by the seagrass, this study was conducted in the Teluk Bakau Village from June to October 2016. There were 3 stations for observing the seagrass ecosystem, and there was a line with 9 plots in each stations. Activities and economical conditions of the people were obtained by using questionnaire. Analysis of seagrass services was done by linking the condition of seagrass ecosystem to the fisheries economic value and the economic condition of the people. Results shown that seagrass species present in Teluk Bakau are Enhalus acoroides, Syringodium isoetifolium, Thalasodendron ciliatum and Cymodocea rotundata. Community activities conducted were the development of tourism facilities in the coastal zones, human settlements, marine tourism and fishing activities. The fisheries economic value in that area is Rp 298,452,000.00/year. Services provided by seagrass ecosystem in the Teluk Bakau village are fish and other aquatic organisms availability, costal protection and marine tourism destination.
