Pengembangan Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Menjadi Pelabuhan Perikanan Di Kota Gunungsitoli Provinsi Sumatera Utara

This research was conducted on 01 February 2017 until 01 March 2017 located in Teluk Belukar Village, North Gunungsitoli District, North Sumatera Province. Fish auction place in Teluk Belukar Village, Gunungsitoli District, North of the current condition is not functioning and active. The fishing fleet used by fishermen boat without motor, boat and motor boat with capacity of 3 GT - 7 GT. The fishing gear used gill net, fishing line, seine trawl and the marine fishery production result in 2016 is 3,985 tons. Public perceptions of the existence of fish auction and fishing port 75% interested, 20% not interested and 5% still in doubt. The local government's response to fish auction and fishing port is to provide support in the construction of auction places and fishing ports in Gunungsitoli City. The programs undertaken in the development of fish auction sites into fishing ports in Gunungsitoli City the construction of basic facilities, functional facilities, supporting facilities, port management as well as administration and finance.
