Indragiri hilir Distict is an area that has overflow natural resources, but has problems with environmental damage and degradasion of natural resources. This study aimed to at analyzing condition of the livelihood asset fishers society and determine status of asset fishermans livelihood. Primary and secondary data were collected by using interviws, observation, and recording.analisys of the data used to determine the level welfare of fishers are using the sustainable livelihoods approach using indicator of financial, social, human and natural resources. The welfare level of fishers countable eith sustainable livelihood approach which server to determine relative wefare. The analyze result showed that the fisher livelihood index in middle category ( 50,6%) with performance indicators of financial asset (18,3 %) with medium categories; indicator of natural asset (3,96%) with not good category; indicator of social asset (16%) with medium category; and indicator of human asset (12,36 %) with good category.
