The limitation of disciplinary action that can be given by the teacher is regulated in Article 39 Government Regulation Number 74/2008 paragraph (1) The teacher has the freedom to impose sanctions on his students who violate religious norms, norms of decency, norms of decency, written or unwritten rules set by the Teacher, education unit level regulations, and laws and regulations in the learning process that is under his authority. The teacher is an educator, who becomes a figure, role model and identification for students, and their environment. Punishment in education is a sanction given by a teacher to students who violate the school rules or instructions from the teacher. To overcome these problems, the notion of Limitation on the Actions of the Teacher as an Educator Providing Sanctions to Students is Associated with Teacher Professional Protection Efforts. Formulation of the Problem How is the Arrangement of Teachers 'Actions as Educators in the Legislation, the Idea of Limits of Teachers' Actions as Educators Give Sanctions to Students Attributed to Efforts to Protect Teacher Professionalism. This type of research is normative law. The approach used in this study is the Statute Approach. This approach is carried out by examining all legislation relating to the problems (legal issues) that are being faced. The results of the study are the Arrangement of the Actions of Teachers as Educators in the Legislation: Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, Minister of Education and Culture Number 10 of 2017 concerning Protection of Educators and Education Personnel. The notion of Limitation of Teacher Actions as Educators Give Sanctions to Students Attributed to Teacher Professional Protection Efforts is to clarify the limits in giving sanctions to the Law on teacher and lecturer protection Number 14 of 2005 and to make legal reforms to Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
