This study is titled Maintaning Kinship Greeting System Of The Malay Riau Dialect Bangko Rokan Hilir (a Case Study). This research was motivated by The Malay greeting system needs to be maintained when the emergence of a greeting system originating from outside Malay. The purpose of this study was to determine the maintenance of kinship greeting systems carried out in the Malay language of Bangko dialect and to know the forms of greeting system changes. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are interview techniques and competent engaging techniques with refer and note strategies. Data analysis techniques include identifying data, classifying data, describing data, and concluding data. The results of the study are that Mr. Harun's family trying maintain the Malay greeting system that has been used before but did not survive because there are several types of greetings that are not from Malay such as 'Mas', 'Mbak', 'Bude' and 'Om' used by the family.
