Hubungan Tingkat Pendidikan Dan Lama Bekerja Perawat Dengan Penerapan Surgical Safety Checklist
This research aims to see the relationship level of education and length of working with the application of surgical safety checklist (SSC) in the GBST Lt. III IBS RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru the hospital has been implementing the SSC five years, but there are still Checklist section is documented but not done well, The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship level of education and long working with the application of surgical safety checklist. The design of the research was descriptive correlation with the cross sectional approach. The number of samples used in the study was 28 respondents taken using the total sampling technique. The measuring instruments used were questionnaires for the level of education, length of working and surgical safety checklist (SSC) observation sheets. The analysis used was univariate analysis to determine the characteristics of frequency distribution of respondents, 28 respondents there were 19 male-sex respondents (67,9%), 22 educated respondents in nursing (78,6), 20 respondents working > 3 Years (71,4%) and 26 respondents (92,9%) were incomplete in the application of surgical safety checklist and bivariate using chi-square test. The results of this study showed no significant relationship between the level of education (p value = 0.389) and length of working (p value = 0,497) with the SSC implementation. The results of this research recommend to hospital institutions to improve the socialization and supervision of surgical room nurse compliance in applying SSC to provide safe and quality surgery for patients.
