Breast cancer is not a contagious disease and the first cause of death of women. The cause of breast cancer is not known for certain, but there are some risk factors associated with the incidence of breast cancer such as age, age menarche, genetics, age at first pregnancy, history of breastfeeding, use of hormonal contraception, and obesity. Goals research is to identify risk factors for breast cancer. The study design survey using the method descriptive analytic. Samples are 58 respondents in room Seruni, Dahlia and Flamboyan Arifin Achmad Riau. Sampling using incidental sampling technique with questionnaire research instruments. Results showed an average age of 47,36 years old respondents, stadium stage II A (29,3%), the average age of the respondents diagnosed with breast cancer 43,36 years (final adult category), average age menarche 12.45 years, the average age of respondents when first pregnant 23.02 years, do not have a family history of cancer (62,1%), history of breastfeeding (84,5%), the mean duration of breastfeeding 2 years old (55,2%), a history of contraceptive pills and injections (44,8%), wearing history pills and injectable contraceptives (44,8%), the average time use contraceptives of 7,62 years and an average BMI of respondents 23 to 24,9 kg / m² (Overweight). Based on the results of the study are expected to people who have risk factors for breast cancer early detection for prevention of breast cancer.
