Wound is a condition of tissue continuity breaking which is caused by trauma or surgery. The main problem that occurs in wound treatment is lack of training and skills to treat wounds affects the wound healing process which makes the incident rate of infection increases in hospitals. This study discussed the knowledge and attitudes of nurses about wound treatment with a descriptive research with cross sectional design. The sampled of this study were 30 respondents taken using total sampling technique. Research results obtained from studies showed that most of the subjects were 36-45 year-olds (56.7%), with the gender of male (50%), female (50%), D3 education level (73.3%), school graduated in year 1998- 2002 (50%), working for 6-10 years (36.7%), training that followed was training not related to wound care (100%). The results of this study indicated the level of respondents' knowledge of wound treatment in the moderate category (60%). The results of this study also showed that respondents' attitudes were in the positive category (96.7%). It is expected that hospitals can be considered for wound-treatment training for nurses who are employed at the hospital, so that they can support the services in hospitals, especially for wound treatment.
