Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kepatuhan Berobat Pasien Hipertensi Di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam
Hypertension is a state of increased systolic blood pressure above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure above 90 mmHg which requires long-term therapy, so that patient compliance is required in undergoing treatment to control blood pressure and reduce the risk of complications. This research aims to determine the factors associated with adherence to hypertension patient treatment in internal medicine polyclinics. The type of research is descriptive correlation with cross sectional design. The population of this research is 396 patients. Samples of this research is 80 respondents with a purposive sampling technique in the Internal Medicine Polyclinic at Awal Panam Hospital. Measurement of compliance is done by using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The result of bivariate analysis with chi square test obtained the result of at knowledge level about hypertension p value = 0.043 < α (0,05), family support p value = 0.042 < α (0,05), the role of health workers p value = 0.003 < α (0,05), motivation to seek treatment p value = 0.031 < α (0,05) and it can be concluded that there is a relationship between adherence with level of knowledge, family support, support of health workers and motivation for treating hypertension patients in internal medicine polyclinics.
