Perbandingan Efektivitas Aromaterapi Lavender Dan Aromaterapi Lemon Dalam Mengatasi Nyeri Post Sectio Caesarea

The birth process can cause pain both normally and by sectio caesarea, so that therapy is needed to reduce pain for mothers such as giving aromatherapy, one of them are aromatherapy lemon and lavender. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of lavender aromatherapy and lemon aromatherapy in dealing with post sectio caesarea pain. This research used quantitative research with quasy experiment design and the design was pretest and post test design with two comparison treatment. This study were taken in the Camar room of RSUD Arifin Ahmad and Zainab Hospital using nonprobability sampling techniques with the type of purposive sampling by sample of 30 respondents based on the inclusion criteria. The measuring instruments used were numeric rating scale and observation sheet. The analysis used univariate analysis to analyze the frequency distribution of respondent characteristics and bivariate analysis, namely the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that there were difference of posttest between lemon aromatherapy and lavender with p value (0.005)
