Kejadian Infestasi Soil Transmitted Helminth Dan Faktor Risiko Pada Murid Sdn 10 Bathin Solapan Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
One of the health problem is still being a big problem in Indonesia is the infestation of intestinal helminth. The kind of intestinal worm that frequently found is Soil transmitted helminth (STH). Soil transmitted helminths is Ascaris lumbricoides (A. lumbricoides), Trichuris trichiura (T. trichiura), Necator americanus (N. americanus), and Ancylostoma duodenale (A. duodenale). One of the risk factor is bad personal hygiene. The aimed of this study was to know the relation between infestation and the risk factors among elementary student of SDN 10 Bathin Solapan. This research was conducted by using cross sectional study analytic method which has been done within December 2019. The Fisher's Exact Test was used to observe the relation of the STH infestation and the risk factor from 69 samples. Based on the results of the examination in the Parasitology Laboratory of Medicine Faculty Riau Universitas. It was found that there were 5 students (7.2%) who were infested by the STH species an the highest number is A. lumbricoides that is 80% and based on the results from questionnare, the risk factor which has the worst in interpretation is the habit of washing hands (60,9%), and from the analysis, there is significant relation between the refining of drinking water and the infestation of STH (the value of p = 0,024).
