This study explains the Indonesian government policy that aims to analyze the development of Indonesia's trade value with intra-ASEAN countries associated with the free flow of goods agreement Asean Economic Community (AEC). This study uses qualitative research methodologies and data collection techniques library research. The results of this study are various policy has led Indonesia in a position of economic competitiveness in the face of the liberalization of goods ready for ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015. However, Indonesia needs to further optimize the strategic steps in every sector that can improve the competitiveness of products -produknya in ASEAN for the overall opening of the market by each ASEAN country has been enjoyed by the Republic of Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
