Pengaruh Pemberian Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Auksin Pada Pertumbuhan Beberapa Bagian Bahan Tanam Setek Jeruk Nipis (Citrus Aurantifolia Swingle.)
Propagation of cuttings using plant branches can be grown in to new plants. The advantage of propagation by cutting is that the new plant produced have the same properties as the parent. The research aims to determine the effect of interaction of Rootone-F and the cutting plant material for the growth of lime cutting and to get the best concentration of Rootone-F and the plant material for cutting. The research was conducted in experimental station and plant physiology laboratory of the faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This study is a factorial trial arranged according to completely randomize design with three replication. The first factor is the cutting plant material consisting the base, middle and tip, and the second factor is the concentration of Rootone-F consisting of 0, 150, 200, and 250 ppm. The parameter observed were the time off budding, number of shoot, shoot lenght, number of leaves, number of roots, root lenght and root volume. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and honestly difference test of 5 %. The conclusion of the research is that the interaction of Rootone-F and cuttings planting material had no significant effect on all parameter. The Rootone-F factor significant effect all parameter except the number of leaves and root lenght the Rootone-F concentration of 200 ppm. The cutting planting material had no significant effect on all parameters except shoot lenght, but the base of cutting showed better growth compared the middle and tip cutting’s.
