Sintesis Komposit Hidroksiapatit-Kitosan Dari Cangkang Lokan (Geloina Coaxans) Dan Cangkang Kepiting (Scyila Olivacea) Dengan Metode Pengendapan
Composites are compiled at least by two different materials, each acting as a matrix and reinsforce (amplifier). In this research hydroxyapatite plays as a matrix whereas chitosan as reinforce. In this study, the composite HAp-chitosan is synthesized using Geloina coanxans as a source of kalisium using two types of solvent water and HNO3, (NH4)2HPO4 as a source of Fospat and is composited with the addition of chitosan from the crab shells (Scyila olivacea) .Lokan (Geloina coaxans) is calcined at a temperature of 1000 °C for 12 hours. Kitosan is obtained from the result of deacetylated chitin from the crab shell powder. Kitosan is contrimy with a variation of 10%, 20% and 30%. Thus obtained the composite HAp-citosan. The chemical composition of Geloina coaxans is analyzed with XRF (X-Ray Flouroscence) instruments. The results showed that the main composition of Geloina coaxans was CaO (98.219%). XRD analysis results proved that the HAp obtained from the precursor Ca (OH) 2 and Fospat (NH4)2HPO4 was 96.0474% on 2 θ = 31.8818º. BET Measurement Results (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) shows the best surface area of the composite HAp-chitosan in addition to the 10% chitosan which is 12.3694 m²/g, pore diameter in the 20% chitosan is 6.6414 nm and pore volume obtained 0.08194 cc/g with a concentration of chitosan 10%. The results of the FTIR analysis on the hydroxyapatite compound (HAp) indicate the presence of specific absorption tape on the OH and PO43- in waves of 3572.32 cm-1 and 1087.90 cm-1.
