Pencucian Kalium Pada Tanah Gambut Yang Diaplikasi Kapur Dan Pupuk Npk Slow Release Fertilizer Serta Pengaruhnya Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Sacchararata Sturt)
Potassium losses through leaching on peat soils are very high. Research on the effect of lime and NPK slow release on potassium loss is still limited. This study aimed to determine the effect of dolomite, a type of NPK slow release and the interaction between the dolomite with NPK slow release of the rate of loss of nutrients in the peat soil and to find the dose that can reduce the rate of leaching of potassium. This research was conducted from August to October 2018 in the Experimental Garden Technical Implementation Unit and Soil Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This study was conducted experimentally using completely randomized design (CRD) factorial. The first factor is a dolomite which consists of 4 levels (0 tons.ha-1, 2.5 tons.ha-1, 5 tons.ha-1, dan 7.5 tons.ha-1). The second factor is NPK slow release which consists of 4 levels (NPK single pearl, NPK 13: 6: 27: 4 + 0,65B Mahkota B, NPK 13: 6: 27: 4 + 0,65B Compound Plus Hi-Kay and NPK 13: 8: 27: 4 MgO Ztick). The results showed that the administration of dolomite 7.5 tons.ha-1 and NPK slow release can suppress potassium washing, improve physiology and growth of sweet corn plants, namely chlorophyll content, plant height, number of leaves, root volume, dry weight of plants and plant growth rate. Provision of interaction between dolomite 7.5 tons.ha-1 with 30.25 N fertilizer, 3.72 P, 12.56 g per tube (NPK Ztick) slow release is the best interaction that can reduce the loss of Potassium 86.66%.
