Netralisasi Limbah Cair Industri Tahu Menggunakan Metode Elektrokoagulasi Dengan Elektroda Al-Al Dengan Variabel Waktu Dan Ketebalan Elektroda
The tofu factory located in PangkalanKerinci, Pelalawan Regency produces 1 m3 of liquid waste per yield and is immediately released without going through pollute to Environment. Tofu liquid waste contains organic substances which can cause microbial growth to increase in the water and contain suspended substances, so they are released to become dirty or turbid. This will increase oxygen levels in the water increases. The purpose of this study was to study variations in plate variation and processing time to reduce levels of TSS, BOD and pH neutralization of tofu wastewater. In this study the electrocoagulation method was used to reduce BOD, TSS and neutralize pH by varying the time, plate thickness. From the research results obtained an effective time in decreasing TSS, BOD and decreasing pH is 60 minutes and thickness of 1 mm with a decrease in BOD concentration by, 14% and TSS 68.78% and at pH 6.83.
