Strategi Pemerintah Kota Pekanbaru Dalam Meningkatkan Retribusi Pasar (Studi Pada Pasar Pagi Arengka Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2019)

Regional levies have the largest contribution to the region's original income after tax. Related to the Pekanbaru City Arengka Morning Market Levies regulated in Pekanbaru City Regulation Number 6 of 2012 concerning Market Service Levies. The problem formulation in this research, namely: How the Pekanbaru City Government Strategy in Increasing Market Retribution (Study on Pekanbaru City Arengka Morning Market in 2019).
As for the purpose of writing this thesis, namely: To find out the Pekanbaru City Government's Strategy in Increasing Market Study Levy at Pekanbaru City Arengka Morning Market in 2019. This research is a qualitative research. This research was conducted at the Department of Industry and Trade Pekanbaru City. The techniques used to collect data in this study are (1) Interviews, (2) Observations, and (3) Documenting.
The conclusion of this study shows that the Arengka Morning Market Retribution in Pekanbaru City is one of the sources of Local Revenue. Market levies are regulated in Pekanbaru City Regulations No. 8 of 2017 concerning Pekanbaru City Regulations No. 6 of 2012 concerning Market Service Levies, retribution collection is under the authority of the Revenue Service, Financial Management and Regional Assets, the implementation of the Pekanbaru City Arengka Morning Market Levies is quite good, that is, it has been implemented with various improvement strategies to strive for success in its improvement. But it can not be separated from the problems that exist in the field such as unscrupulous elements in carrying out their role, the authors advise that it should foster awareness of both the collection staff and the community of the importance of retribution. Both of the collection officers must do the collection in accordance with the regulations set by the Pekanbaru City Government and vice versa users of the Retribution service must also pay according to the tariff and on time.
