Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Melalui Metode Bermain Peran Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Melati Desa Air Emas Kecamatan Ukui Kabupaten Pelalawan
This research aimed to know could the role-playing methods increase the speaking ability of children age 5-6 years in TK Melati of Air Emas Village of Pelalawan Regency. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research that have 2 cycle, and in each cycle consists of 4 stage namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. This research used observation as the data retrieval techniques. The subject of this research are 14 children in Group B of TK Melati of Air Emas Village of Pelalawan Regency, among them 8 daughter and 6 son. Based on the data analysis, known that the average of children’s speaking ability before the Cycle is 33.41% with “Begin to Develop” criteria. After applying role-playing methods in Cycle I, the children’s speaking ability increase until 45.56% with “Begin to Develop” criteria, while the average of Cycle II is 72.36% with “Developed According to Expectation” criteria. It means that role-playing methods provide a positive response and can increasing speaking ability for children age 5-6 years in TK Melati of Air Emas Village of Pelalawan Regency.
