Identifikasi Bakteri Asam Laktat (Bal) Dari Media Air Budidaya Ikan Nila Srikandi (Oreochromis Aureus X Oreochromis Niloticus) Dengan Sistem Boster
ABSTRACT
Tilapia is one of commodity in Indonesia that has great potential and very likely to be developed because of the good taste of meat and easy to maintain. The purpose of this research was to identify the type of lactic acid bacteria on the water medium of the aquaculture of srikandi nile (Oreochromis aureus x Oreochromis niloticus) with the Booster system. This study was conducted in April to June 2019, in the Parasitic Laboratory and Fish Disease Department of Aquaculture Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Riau University. The method used in this research was the survey method by taking water samples from the maintenance container by inserting a sample bottle of 10 mL volume that was tilted 45 degrees to the water at a depth of 10 cm. Water bacteria were isolated at pH 2, pH 4 and pH 6, then identified according to the identification manual. The results shown that the type of lactic acid bacteria in the water media of the booster system was Bacillus. Water quality parameters during the research were good namely, the temperature ranges 27-280C, pH ranges 7-7,3, DO ranges 5-6,8 mg/L and ammonia (NH3) ranges 0,003-0,067 mg/L.
