Efek Pelapisan C’ketz Antifouling Terhadap Pertumbuhan Teritip Dan Kekuatan Lambung Kapal Kayu

ABSTRACT
Barnacles organisms are one of destructive organism of onshore buildings made from wood. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of coating C'kets Antifouling against barnacle growth and modulus of elasticity in meranti mangrove wood. The research method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design of 6 treatments and 3 replications. Analysis of the amount of barnacles and modulus of elasticity using the ANOVA test. The results showed that immersion duration significantly affected (Fcount> Ftable = 60.66> 3.11) on the number of anchor organisms with 63% growth of barnacles on 30 days immersion and 73.3% barnacles on 60 days immersion. Comparison of elastic modulus between specimens coated with C'Ketz Antifouling and uncoated was 51.3% with not soaked, 118.2% with 30 days immersion and 45.1% with 60 days immersion (Fcount> Ftable = 24.378> 3.11).
