ABSTRACT
The research was conducted in Panipahan, Pasir Limau Kapas Sub-District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. It’s was analized the business of sea fish with gill net and find out the obstacles faced by fisherman in conducting business. The population of this research is 50 fishermen who have 7 GT and 10 GT vessels. While respondent consist og 5 fishermen who have 7 GT vessels and 5 fishermen who have 10 GT vessels. Which taken by stratified random sampling technique. The result of the research note that investment vessels 7 GT of IDR 283.997.700 in years and investment vessels 10 GT of IDR 408.996.994 in years. RCR vessels 7 GT of 1,5 dan 10 GT of 1,4 which of the business can be said to feasible, and every the capital spent IDR 1.000 can get to profit IDR 500 and 10 GT of IDR 400, Then the obstacles faced by fishermen are the duration of engine repair and also the decline in production so that it inhibits fishermen and also causes a decrease in income.
