Gambaran Pengetahuan Mahasiswa Keperawatan Tentang Ulkus Dekubitus

Pressure ulcers are also often referred to as pressure ulcers, afternoon beds, or bed ulcers caused by cell necrosis and often occur in the skin or subcutaneous tissue in the area of the bone bulge. To prevent pressure sores, a good knowledge of pressure sores is required. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of nursing students' knowledge about pressure ulcers. The research design uses is quantitative descriptive. The research sample are 214 respondents with a total sampling technique. The results obtained were students' knowledge about pressure ulcers with a sufficient category that is as much as 5.6% of respondents. In this study the results obtained that the best respondent's knowledge is on the theme of etiology. One effort that can be done to improve student knowledge is to provide workshops, training or mini-seminars on pressure sores to increase students' knowledge about pressure ulcers.
