This research was conducted in Sigaruntang Village, Inuman Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, the purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the transition of electricity generator use to PLN on social economy in Sigaruntang Village Inuman Subdistrict, Inuman District, Kuantan Singingi District. The analysis used in analyzing data in this study is using descriptive analysis. The data used are primary data directly taken to the community of Sigaruntang Village relating to the impact of the influx of electricity and the data presented by the Sigaruntang Village Office Inuman District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The results of this study found that the inclusion of PLN electricity into Sigaruntang Village, Inuman District, had an impact and contribution to the socio-economic conditions of the community in terms of improved services provided in terms of education, health, and government. In general, the social and economic indicators of the people examined in this study also indicate that the inclusion of PLN electricity in Sigaruntang Village improves the quality of people's lives.
