Pengaruh Latihan Resisted Push-Up Terhadap Kekuatan Otot Lengan Dan Bahu Pada Siswa Putra Kelas Xa Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Dayun
From the observations of researchers, male students of class Xa Building Picture Engineering of SMK Negeri 1 Dayun have not been able to produce maximum repulsion, this can be seen from the results of repulsion that is low or not in accordance with the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). The KKM that is needed in the subject of shot put is 70 with the repulsion distance of 6 meters. Deficiencies that occur in the result of this shot put is the physical condition of the athlete, one of which is caused by muscle strength that is not optimal. This research aims to determine: The effect of Resisted Push-up exercises on Arm and Shoulder Muscle Strength in male students of class Xa Building Picture Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Dayun. The population that will be used is the male students of SMK Negeri 1 Dayun , which number 15 people. The sample is simply interpreted as part of the population that is the actual source of data in a research. According to Hadi (1993: 321) "If the population is less than 100 it is better for all population to be sampled, then if the population is more than 100 then the sample is at least 10-25%. So that the sample in this research was 15 people. The instrument in this study was an expanding dynamometer to measure arm and shoulder muscle strength. The data obtained were analyzed using T-test. Based on the T-test resulted in a tcount of 1. 920 with a 1.761 ttable then Ha rejected, at the alpha level (a) 0.05. It can be concluded that the influence of Resisted Push-up exercises on arm and shoulder muscle strength in male students of class Xa Building Picture Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Dayun. Based on the conclusions above, that the training of Resisted Push-up can increase the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles, if given continuous training.
