The background of this study is that most children who do not know the number symbols, mention the number symbols from 1-10, for example are able to recognize the number 1-10, mention the sequence of numbers 1-10, understand the sound and the meaning of numbers 1-10, the ability to arrange the numbers And numbers, match numbers with number symbols, and there are still children who do not exactly pair the number symbols corresponding to numbers. In addition, the media used in learning is still using LKA in developing the ability to count children. For that required game equipment in the classroom or outside the classroom in accordance with the actual object (imitation), interesting and varied, and not harmful. Based on the background, the researcher did the improvement and optimize the ability to recognize the symbol of the number in the child according to the level of development of his age. The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers in children aged 4-5 years through balloon numbers games in PAUD Terpadu Baiturrahmat Kecamatan Pekaitan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Regency, to know how the application of balloon game numbers to be able to improve the ability to recognize the symbol of the number in children Age 4-5 years, and to know how big the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years of children in PAUD Terpadu Baiturrahmat Kecamatan Pekaitan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Based on the above table obtained the results of completeness of children on the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers through balloon game number cycle II ie; The percentage achieved at the first meeting was 77.45%, the second meeting was 82.35% and the third meeting was 91.18%. If the averaged percentage of the three meetings, the completeness achieved in cycle II is 83.66%. The application of the number balloon game by the teacher is better from cycle I to cycle II, it is proved from the percentage improvement that is achieved on the increase before cycle I cycle percentage increase reaches 40.2% and the percentage increases in cycle I to cycle II with the percentage of equal to 33.6% and on the increase between cycle II and before the increase occurred very high yantg that is with the percentage reached 87.6%.
