Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Awal Melalui Media Flip Chart Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Paud Kamboja Griya Mukti Jaya Kecamatan Teluk Belengkong Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Type of research used is Classroom Action Research. Classroom action research is a research conducted by teachers in their own class through self reflection with the aim to improve its performance as a teacher, so that students' learning outcomes become increasing. The subject of this research is students in PAUD Cambodia Griya Mukti Jaya Teluk Belengkong District Indragiri Hilir Regency amounted to 15 people, men 10 children, women 5 children. The data of this research is data about early reading ability of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Cambodia Griya Mukti Jaya Teluk Belengkong District Indragiri Hilir Regency. Data analysis used in this research is qualitative-quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the observation, it is seen that the increase from cycle I to cycle II on the ability of children early reading in PAUD Cambodian Griya Mukti Jaya Belengkong Bay District Indragiri Hilir Regency on the first cycle on the indicator recognize ABCD-ACD pattern the number of scores 135 with the average percentage of 75% in the category of BSH rises in cycle II the number of scores 180 with 100% average percentage entry in the category of BSH this increase because children have been accustomed to learn to recognize ABCD-ABCD pattern by using Flip Chart media so easy for children to recognize the pattern of the letters, mention the symbols of the letters known the number of scores of 129 with the average percentage of 71.67% entry in the category of BSH up in cycle II the number of 168 scores with average percentage 93.33% entry in the category of BSB after recognizing the pattern of children's letter is very easy to mention symbols in letters, on the indicator recognize the sound of the initial letter of the name of objects in sekit arnya total score 129 with average percentage 71.67% entry in the category of BSH up in cycle II the number of 162 scores with 90 percent average percentage entered in the category of BSB with already skilled children in early reading and children's letters very easy to recognize sound of letters, on the indicator mention the group of images that have the same initial sound / letters the number of scores of 120 with the average percentage of 66.67% entered in the category of BSH rose in cycle II the number of scores 150 with the average percentage of 83.33% BSB category by recognizing the shape and sound of the letters of children is easy to distinguish groups of each image that has the same sound and letters, on the indicator to understand the relationship between the sound and the shape of the number of

Based on observation in cycle II all indicators on early reading ability of children aged 5-6 years have increased, where in cycle I as a whole children enter in the category of BSH increased to BSB in cycle II, thus the use of Flip Chart media in the process of reading early reading The result of reflection and field notes during the cycle, the findings have been recorded, to note the increase that occurred in cycle I and compared with the value obtained before the action was given. From the calculation of data analysis above can be seen that the increase that occurred from pre action to cycle I is equal to 49%. From the calculation of data analysis above can be seen that the increase that occurred from cycle I to cycle II is equal to 29%. From the calculation of data analysis above can be seen that the increase that occurred from pre-action to cycle II was 93%.
