This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of children through the traditional game of clogs in children aged 5-6 years in CK Rokan Sintong Light District Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir District. This research is a collaborative class action research conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this research are children of group B in CK Rokan Sintong Bakti kindergarten who need 12 children. The research was conducted in second semester of academic year 2017/2018. Data completion technique used in this research is observation. The data completion instrument uses an observation sheet. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Improved fine motor skills read success 75% Expectant Expectations (BSB)
Result of research of gross motor skills Pre action criteria Begin Evolving (MB) with the mean of 36'97% rough motor score. From result of research of Cycle I, Meeting I up to meeting III with average value of cycles equal to 48% with criterion Start Develop (MB) and not yet reached indicator of success. The results of the study of fine motor skills Cycle II children, Meeting I up to the third meeting with the average of the cycle obtained an average of 71.52% Developing Very Hopeful (BSH). This improvement is done through the assessment of learning are: (1) cooperation to train flexibility, balance, and agility. (2) cooperation in imitating dance or gymnastics. (3) with. (4) Skillful use of right and left hand. (5) independent business activities. Percentage of labor. The interest rate is 93.45%. From the results of the research obtained through the activities of traditional game clogs can improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years.
