The ability to recognize the number symbol is one of the goals of National Education. The increase in the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers can be seen from every human child. Education of the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers has become a necessity for school children. Increased ability to recognize the symbol of numbers in early childhood with interesting and fun learning and given repeatedly through a game of bowling numbers. The purpose of this research is two to know the improvement of the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers through the game of bowling numbers in children aged 4-5 years in Paud Terpadu Harapan Subdistrict Bangko Pusako and describe the increase in the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers through the game bowling numbers in children aged 4-5 years In Paud Terpadu Harapan Kecamatan Bangko Pusako. This study uses classroom action research (PTK) research tool used is a child observation sheet, teacher activity observation sheet and obsevation sheet increase the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers. Subjects in this study amounted to 10 children with a total of 4 boys and 6 children. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The result of analysis shows that in the first cycle, the result of observation of teacher activity is 58,33%. Observation result of activity of child equal to 51,67% and result of increase of ability to know symbol of number equal to 64,72% so that result obtained not as expected because target determined that equal to 76%. Therefore, it is followed by research on the second cycle. Result of second cycle analysis obtained by observation of teacher activity equal to 85%, observation of activity of child equal to 83,83% and observation increase ability to recognize symbol of number equal to 80,84%. From the results of this study can be concluded that the increase in the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers can be increased through a game of bowling numbers.
