This aim of this research to increase the ability to recognize the concept of numbers through picture number cards media in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Permata Hati Sungai Alah village Hulu Kuantan districts Kuantan Singingi regency. The sample in this research is 15 students In PAUD Permata Hati. The research method used is self reflection method. Research conducted several stages of the cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. From the research, it can be seen that the percentage of the ability to recognize the concept of number from before cycle to cycle one is 37% and cycle one to cycle two is 73%, while before cycle to second cycle that is 137% it shows that picture number cards media has an effect on improvement of concept Number in early childhood.
