Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Lambang Bilangan Melalui Permainan Puzzle Angka Pada Anak Usia 4–5 Tahun Di Paud Terpadu Mutiara Bangsa Kecamatan Pekaitan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study is a classroom action research that aims to improve the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children through the puzzle game of children aged 4-5 years in the Early Childhood Mutiara Bangsa Pekaitan District Rokan Hilir Regency. The study was conducted because the ability to recognize the number symbols in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Integrated Mutiara Bangsa is still low. Observations conducted indicate that the rendanya factor of this ability because of teacher-centered learning, children less actively participate in learning activities, rarely use instructional media in learning. This research is collaborative between researchers and classroom teachers. Data collected using observation and documentation method. Data were analyzed by applying 2 cycles, where cycle I was held three times meeting and cycle II was held three times meeting. The results of this study indicate an increase in the ability to recognize the number symbols in children aged 4-5 years in Early Childhood Mutiara Bangsa through game puzzle numbers. The ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children increased from before the action 45.83% with the criteria begin to develop. After the act of the level of ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children increased in the first cycle of 56.63%, in the second cycle increased to 86.67% with the criteria developed very well. The conclusion of this research is through game puzzle numbers can increase the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers in children aged 4-5 years in the Early Childhood Mutiara Bangsa Pekaitan District Rokan Hilir Regency.
