The ability to recognize the concept of numbers is one of the goals of National Education. Increased ability to recognize the concept of numbers can be seen from every human child. Educational ability to know the concept of numbers has become a necessity for school children. Increased ability to recognize the concept of numbers in early childhood with interesting and fun learning and given repeatedly through playing numbers fishing. The purpose of this research there are two that is to know the increasing ability to recognize the concept of numbers through playing fishing numbers in children group A in Paud Flamboyan Teluk Pulau Hulu Subdistrict Rimba Melintang and describe the increasing ability to recognize the concept of numbers through playing fishing numbers in children group B in Paud Flamboyan Bay Hulu Island District of Rimba Melintang. This research uses classroom action research (PTK) research tool used is child observation sheet, observation sheet of teacher activity and obsevation sheet improvement of ability to recognize the concept of number. Subjects in this study amounted to 20 children with a total of 11 boys and 9 girls. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The result of analysis shows that in cycle one obtained the observation result of teacher activity equal to 63,88%. The result of observation of activity of children equal to 55,41% and result of improvement of ability to know concept of number equal to 57,88% so that result obtained not as expected because target determined that is equal to 70%. Therefore, it is followed by research on the second cycle. The result of second cycle analyst obtained by observation of teacher activity equal to 88,88%, observation of activity of children equal to 69,30% and observation improvement ability know concept of number equal to 72,49%. From the results of this study can be concluded that the improvement of the ability to recognize the concept of numbers can be increased through playing numbers fishing.
