The objective of the research is to find out the speaking ability through story telling by using flashcard animal series of children aged 3-4 years in Adzikra Playgroup in Sungai Buluh village Singingi Hilir district Kuantan Singingi. the type of the research is CAR (Classroom Activity Research) which consist of two cycles, where each cycle conducted 3 meetings. The subject of this research are students aged 3-4 in Adzikra Playgroup in Sungai Buluh village which consist of 8 children referred by Anas Sudjono’s formula. The media to collect data the speaking ability of children is observation checklist. There are some steps in Classroom Activity Research: planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research is belongs to quantitative and qualitative research. Based on the result of observation before action it seen that the mean score of speaking ability is 38,28%. By analizing the data it indicated that improvement in clycle II about before action is 99%. The result of this research showed that there is improving gradually in speaking ability through story telling by using flashcard animal series.
