Action Research This class aims to improve the ability to recognize the concept of child numbers. The strategy is done through rubber seed media. Classroom Action Research is conducted in several cycles, with each cycle consisting of 4 stages: Planning, Acting, Observation, and Reflection. Research is done in two cycles, if in the first cycle has not achieved results in the indicator of success it will be continued in the second cycle and will continue the next cycle until the problem is solved. This study was conducted from February to May 2017. The number of subjects in this study were 15 children consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls aged 4-5 years in KB Amanah Benai District Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the data obtained before the action (initial data) the average value of the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children amounted to 38.92% with the criteria Start Develop (MB). After the planning, action and observation, it was found that the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children in the first cycle 56.07% with the criteria of Start Developing (MB). Increased ability to recognize the concept of the number of children in cycle I is accompanied by an increase in teacher activity. Activity of teacher in cycle I get percentage 33,3% Criteria Enough, and activity of child 44,77% with criteria Enough. From the results of data analysis can be that the improvement of the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children in cycle I is equal to 29.9%. Of these customs have increased although not optimal. Therefore, the researchers continue the second cycle so that the results will improve. In cycle II, after the planning, action and observation, the result shows that the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children in Cycle II is 75.35% with the criteria of Expanding Expectations (BSH). The ability to recognize the concept of the number of children in Cycle II earns 86.11% Criteria Both (B) and child activity earn 80.33% percentage with Good criterion (B). From the calculation of data analysis, the increase that occurred in the cycle I to cycle II by 50%. So it can be concluded that in cycle II through the rubber seeds the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children has an optimal increase. From the above data calculation results, there is an increase in percentage in cycle II, it shows that through rubber seed media that improve the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children aged 4-5 years in KB Amanah Village Banjar Benai Kuantan Singingi.
