The background of this study is the child's fine motor skills are still said to be less developed with the maximum. Seen in the drawing activity there are some children who way of coloring is still stiff and rough so that the coloring results tend not tidy, other than that when the children make a circle image, the result is a circle that is not uniform and not in accordance with what is expected, in making writing is still not tidy Even there are still some who can not write correctly, and at the time of plagiarizing the results of plagiarism children still look less tidy because the results of different plagiarism with the original copy and tends to children always repeat in making tracing, but also when the activity to match the results also have not Neat even some of them are impatient and not careful.
Based on the background, the researcher did the improvement and optimize the fine motor ability in the child according to the level of the development of his age. The purpose of the implementation of this research is (1) To know the improvement of fine motor skills through weaving activities in children aged 5-6 years in early (2) To know the application of weaving activities in improving the fine motor skills in children Aged 5-6 years, and (3) To know the big improvement of fine motor skills through weaving activities in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Ar-Rohim Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. In 1 cycle there are 3 meetings. The data collection tool used in this research is in the form of observation sheet. The number of samples in this study were 15 children consisting of 8 boys and 7 girls.
Based on the analysis of the assessment process of 2 cycles there is an increase from before the implementation of action to cycle I of 34.1% and cycle I to cycle II that is equal to 40.6% and increase from before the cycle to cycle II of 88.5%. The weaving activity can improve fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Ar-Rohim Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir and can be increased from pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle II in MB category to BSH and BSB.
Large percentage improvement of fine motor ability in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Ar-Rohim Bangko District Rokan Hilir regency obtained the average value that is before the cycle of 42.86% and increased in cycle I with an average value of 57.46% and In cycle II there is an increase that is average value in cycle II reach 80.79%. Percentage improvement of fine motor ability in children aged 5-6 years through fine motor activities through weaving activities in PAUD Ar-Rohim Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir 88.5%
