Based on this background, the researchers make repairs and improve fine motor skills in children according to the age level of development. The purpose of the implementation of this research is to find ways of applying plasticine media in improving the fine motor children aged 5-6 years, to determine the increase fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years and to find out how high the plasticine media can improve fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 year in kindergarten Bangko TK Harapan Bunda District of Rokan Hilir. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle there are three meetings. Data collection tool used in this study is the observation sheet form. The number of samples in this study were 15 children consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. Based on the analysis of the assessment process there was an increase of 2 cycles. Improvement occurred, ie from before action to the first cycle of 21.73%, the first cycle to the second cycle of 47.99%, and the improvement of the prior cycle to the second cycle of 80.13%. From the results of these studies concluded that through the medium of clay can improve fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Bangko TK Harapan Bunda District of Rokan Hilir.
