Nilai Taksonomi Stomata Tumbuhan Paku Epifit Di Pt. Panca Surya Garden, Kampar, Riau

Panca Surya Garden Ltd. is one of the epiphyte fern distribution areas. The purpose of this study was to see the taxonomic value of stomata in epiphyte fern in Panca Surya Garden Ltd. The sampling was carried out using the exploration method. The stomata preparations were prepared using replication method. The charateistics of stomata were described and scored score using NTSys PC 2.02i. A total of 14 species of epiphytic ferns with 10 genus in 7 family were identified from the study sites. The stomata observations showed hypostomatic type of stomata for all of the examined ferns., and have similar kidney shaped of guard cells. However the number and distribution varies within the species.. The similarity coefficients of 16 stomata characters ranged from 0.59 to 0.96. the result showed that the stomatal characteristic with taxonomical value were found in shape, number, and type of guad cells. The shape of epidermis cell also supported the classification of examinde fern.
