Strategi Pengembangan Pemasaran Produk Olahan Mangrove Di Desa Sei Nagalawan Kecamatan Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara
ABSTRACT
The marketing development strategy is one of way to win a sustainable
competitive advantange both for business that produces goods or services, the
other reasons that demonsstrates the importance of strategy is increasingly tough
competition the company in general. The purpose of this research are to know the
general state of mangrove processing business as well as analyzing the marketing
trend and marketing development strategy. Respondents in this study were all
members of the Muara Tanjung group, which amounted to 17 people, who were
determined in a census. The results showed that the process of making mangrove
processed products still use simple equipments. The product types are produced
namely: jeruju crackers IDR. 80,000/Kg, pedada syrup (IDR. 12,000/botol) and
dodol api-api (IDR 40.000/Kg). Next, trend of marketing is increased overall each
year, the jeruju crackers (4.40%), pedada syrup (6.63%) and dodol api-api
(6.35%). SWOT analysis produced is to do product development by utilizing
product quality as well as promoting the product by educating consumers with the
online browsers/print and electronic media.
