Hubungan Kecerdasan Emosi Terhadap Perilaku Moral Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Harapan Bunda Kecamatan Cerenti Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This study aims to determine the level of relationship between
emotional intelligence with moral behavior of children aged 5-6 years in
Kindergarten Harapan Bunda Cerenti Sub-District, Kuantan Singing Regency. The
sample in this study amounted to 40 children. The method used in this study is
quantitative correlation to see the relationship between the independent and
dependent variables. Data collection techniques used are observation. Data analysis
techniques used the Pearson product moment correlation test with the IBM SPSS
Statistick Ver program. 23. From the results of the study note the level of emotional
intelligence is in the sufficient category with a percentage value of 61.83% and the
level of moral behavior of children is in the sufficient category with a percentage
value of 63.67%. Based on the results of the hypothesis obtained, there is a positive
and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and moral behavior of
children aged 5-6 years in Harapan Bunda Kindergarten, Cerenti Sub-District,
Kuantan Singing Regency. This can be known by the correlation coefficient of rxy =
0.683 and the resulting determinant coefficient of KD = r2 x 100% = 46.70% has the
meaning that emotional intelligence gives an effect of 46.70% on moral behavior.
