Penentuan Nilai Scattering Volume Ikan Kiper (Scatophagus Argus) Menggunakan Data Echosounder
Marine acoustics is a marine field that is used to detect water coloumn targets and waters
bases by using sound as its medium which is basically underwater acoustic technology.
Scattering volume can be used to determine the value of the number of fish, fish length,
swimming bladers. The purpose of this research know the value of Scattering volume of
goalkeeper fish (Scatophagus argus) using echosounder data on the number of fish through the
application of Hydroacoustic instruments SIMRAD EK-15, The goalkeeper (Scatophagus argus)
is used as many as ten fish by frist recording with two fish to ten fish based on recording using
echoview and Minitab 18 applications. The results showed the Scattering Value of the volume of
the keeper fish (Scatophagus argus) ranged from -46,47 dB to -39,61 dB with an average of -
44,73 dB, and the value of Scattering volume of goalkeeper fish (scatophagus argus) with the
number of fish yielded a value of Sv = -41,419-0,4625x.
