Pengaruh Leverage, Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan Dan Kepemilikan Manajerial Terhadap Financial Distress (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar Di Bei Periode 2015-2018)
This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, profitability, firm size
and managerial ownership to financial distress in Manufacturing Companies
listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2018. The method used
in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study
are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in
2015 to 2018 with a total sample of 17 companies with a total sample of this study
totaling 68 samples. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling using
secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression
with the help of SPSS 23.0 software. From the test results that have been done, the
trial shows the variables that exist today, namely leverage affects the financial
distress with a significant value of 0.002 which is smaller than the probability
value of 0.05, the profitability variable does not significantly influence the
financial distress with a significant value 0.308 which is greater than the
probability value of 0.05, the firm size variable has no significant effect on
financial distress with a significant value of 0.090 which is greater than the
probability value of 0.05, while the managerial ownership variable influences the
financial distress with a significant value of 0.023 which is smaller than
probability value of 0.05.
