Sustained Corporate Social Responsibility is the corporation commitment to
reponsible in social, economic and environment both nowadays and future. In the
social responsible, corporation is not only demanded to give contribution or think
about the profit. There should be synergy between government, corporation and
society in the social, economic and environment activity in order to make the
sustained development reached. CPI Ltd. as dominant MNC in Riau province is
demanded to carry out the sustained corporate social responsibility. This research
aims to find out the sustained corporate social responsibility of CPI Ltd. in Riau
province. The method used in this research is mix method with quantitative
approach in the form of path analysis and qualitative approach, in the form of
interview, observation and library study. The theory used as instrument in
explaining the result of this research is Green politic theory and theory of CSR.
The sustained corporate social responsibility that have been done by CPI Ltd. in
Riau province are : social, economic and environment. In social side for example
by carrying out educational program and training, health program. All the
program in this social side give direct impact toward the society in the
development of human resources and health. In the economic side, CPI Ltd carry
out populist economic activity and local bussiness development and infrastructure
aid program that give impact toward development of labor skill and local
economic. In the environment side, CPI Ltd. Carry out garbage bank program,
“Kampung Iklim” program, Sumatran tiger and elephant conservation,
“adiwiyata” school program. Certainly, all the program give direct impact to the
environment. As the result of this research can be concluded that these three
variables, social, economic and environment at corporate social responsibility
program of CPI Ltd. has dominant influence toward the sustained corporate social
responsibility. The three variables in the sustained corporate social responsibility
are related and can be the solution for corporate social responsibility problem
nowadays and in the future.
