Gambaran Alam Dalam Pantun Rantau Kuantan

This research is motivasted by the concentrated nature of
images and educative messages in the poetry of Manjopuik Limau as an
expression of Rantau Kuantan’s culture. what is the natural picture in the Rantau
Kuantan’s verse and what educative messages are there in the text. The purpose
of this study is to describe what constitutes a nature’s representation in Rantau
Kuantan’s Verse and what are the educative messages from the nature’s
representation in Rantau Kuantan’s verse. This type of research with meaningful
qualitative research methods using word to describe facts and phenomena
observeb in existing texts. Data collected using the menthod of documentation and
library studies. Descriptive analysis is used to describe or analyze a research
result but is not used to make broader conclusions. The data in this study are
primary data sources an data, that is data obtained or collected by the author
himself and the instrument used is the verse text that already exists and is
recorded. Data collection techniques in this study are the authors do the
documentation technique. In this documentation the authors collected material
and research data by compiling and analyzing the verse Manjopuik Limau
documentation obtained, and literature studies. The data analysis technique of
this research was carried out by reading, identifying, describing, discussing
findings, and summarizing the result of nature representation and educational
messages found in Rantau Kuantan’s verse. The result of the study obtained data
on the Rantau Kuantan’s verse tend to be explicit using nature representation of
plants, animals, villages, rivers, fields, forests, and which tends to be implied
namely lubuk, island, and estuary. This it can be concluded that the elderd first
created a verse by looking at the natural surroundings to create a verse.
