Kontribusi Istri Nelayan Terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Pada Usaha Pengolahan Produk Perikanan Di Desa Tanjung Baru Kecamatan Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau

This research was conducted on 24 August until 12 September 2019 in
Tanjung Baru Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau
Province. This study aims to determine the outflow of fishermen's wife's working
hours, determine the effect of fisherman's wife's working hours on household
income and to determine the contribution of fishermen's wives to fishermen's
household income in the processing of fishery products in Tanjung Baru Village,
Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The method used is
a survey method that is analyzed using simple linear regression with the number
of respondents in this study were 23 respondents who processed using the SPSS
application.
Spent hours of fishermen's wife working in the processing of fishery
products shows the highest spill of work hours of the wife in the processing of
shrimp crackers that is 84 hours / week later in salted fish processing which is 63
hours / week and the lowest in terasi processing is 42 hours / week. The influence
of the working hours of the fishermen's wife in the fishery product business has a
significant effect on household income, if the wife's work hours are added by
10%, the income will increase 7.2%. The contribution of fishermen's wives to the
household income of fishermen in Tanjung Baru Village in the cracker processing
business is relatively high at 58,3% %, salted fish processing is moderate at 33,3%
% and shrimp paste processing is relatively low with a percentage value of
25,00%.
