Pengaruh Curahan Jam Kerja Pada Rumah Tangga Nelayan Terhadap Pendapatan Di Desa Bogak Kecamatan Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batu Bara Provinsi Sumatera Utara

This research was conducted in October 2019 which is located in Bogak
Village, Tanjung Tiram Sub District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra
Province. The method used in this study is a survey method with the number of
respondents as many as 46 households and the determination of respondents is
done by purposive sampling. This study aims to determine the length of working
hours on fishermen households, types of work, household income and analyze the
influence of hours spent working on fishing households on income. The results of
this study show that traditional fishermen's working hours are 7-8 hours/day,
wife's work hours average 5-6 hours/day and children's work hours average 4-5
hours/day. The types of work of family members are shrimp peeler, crab feeder
and fleet cleaners. The total household income of fishermen in Bogak Village
with an average of IDR2,987,304 / month. Spending working hours on fishermen
households on income in Bogak Village has a positive effect with an R-Square
value of 0.853 or 85.3%, which can explain the household income of fishermen in
Bogak Village while the remaining 14.7% is explained by other factors.
