Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Matematika Berbasis Alat Musik Tradisional Melayu Riau Pada Materi Lingkaran Kelas VIII SMP/MTS

The background of this research is the difficulty of students in understanding mathematics learning. The lack of availability of mathematics textbook is one of the difficulties factors for students understanding the concept of learning mathematics. This research aims to develop mathematic textbooks based on Riau traditional music instruments. This research is a research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model that consist of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, but this research was only carried out until the development stage. The research instrument is a validation sheet to assess validity of the textbooks. The validation sheet consists of 5 aspects, including display, learning materials, language, presentation, and culture. Results of data analysis of the validity of textbooks obtained an average value of 3,50 with a very valid category.
