Pengaruh Pemberian Pakan Yang Di Fermentasi Dengan Probiotik Em-4 (Effective Microorganism-4) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Benih Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias Sp) Yang Dipelihara Dengan Teknologi Bioflok
Sangkuriang catfish is a freshwater commodity that has high economic value and
its production increases every year. For this reason, efforts are needed to increase
production, one of which is by increasing feed nutrition using EM4 probiotics.
This study aims to determine the effect of feeding fermented with EM4 probiotic
on the growth and survival of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp) seeds. Maintained
by biofloc technology. The method used was a completely randomized design
(CRD) with four treatments and three replications, while the treatments were P0
(without probiotic EM4), P1 (EM4 dose of 4 mL/kg), P2 (6 mL/kg of feed), and
P3 ( 8 mL/kg of feed). The test fish used were sangkuriang catfish seeds
measuring 6.5 ± 0.5 cm with a stocking density of 1 fish / 3 L of water. Fish
rearing was carried out for 42 days with a frequency of three times a day feeding
as much as 5% of the fish weight. The results showed that giving EM4 to feed
with different doses had a significant effect (P≤0.05) on absolute weight growth,
absolute length, growth rate, and feed conversion ratio, but not significantly
different on survival rates. The best result was P3 treatment (dose 8 mL / kg of
feed) with an absolute weight growth of 7.56 g, absolute length 3.51 cm, growth
rate 4.64%, feed conversion 0.99, and survival 93.33%.
